Bat Access Slate

The Bat Access Slate is a ready-made solution for building work in the presence of bat roosts. The law requires you to keep bat access points open during any renovation work.

Blocking a bat roost is a criminal offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Penalties include an unlimited fine or up to six months in prison.

The Natural Slate Bat Vent from Beddoes Products requires no cutting or modification. It fits into your existing natural slate roof, replacing a single slate. The product features a weathering cowl and a non-slip surface to help bats enter and exit safely.

Available in grey Spanish slate as standard, in two sizes: 500 x 250mm and 600 x 300mm, to suit the most common natural slate dimensions.
